Service Terms

• PC Pitstop provides appointment-based computer repair, data recovery evaluation, and remote support service.
• Computer diagnostics are $39, and the diagnostic fee is credited toward an approved repair unless otherwise stated before service begins.
• No paid repair work begins without customer authorization. Additional work requires approval before continuing.
• No Fix, No Repair Charge means that if PC Pitstop cannot complete the specifically authorized repair, repair labor for that unsuccessful repair is not charged. Diagnostic fees, approved special-order or nonreturnable parts, approved specialist or third-party expenses, and other previously disclosed nonrecoverable costs may still apply.
• Payment is due upon completion before the repaired device is returned unless another arrangement has been approved.
• Parts may require prepayment depending on the purchasing arrangement.
• Customers should maintain backups when possible. Data recovery cannot be guaranteed.
• Advanced or specialist escalation requires customer approval before any third-party handling occurs.
• Credentials should only be provided where necessary. Remote support requires customer permission and active participation.
• PC Pitstop provides a 30-day workmanship warranty on the specific repair performed. Coverage applies to PC Pitstop's workmanship and does not automatically cover unrelated failures, new damage, new malware infections, customer modifications, or conditions outside the work performed.
